Men's concerns in Laval
You do not need to know the name of a treatment to say what is bothering you. Describe what you see, and we will name what answers it.
Do you already know what you are looking for?
There are two ways to arrive on this page, and they do not call for the same reading.
Already know the name of the treatment you want? The calendar is open and there is nothing more here for you. Each treatment page gives the steps, the price and the contraindications.
Starting instead from something you see in the mirror without knowing what it is called? This is the place. The pages that follow name a concern, explain where it comes from, and say plainly what acts on it and what will change nothing.
It is for you if:

You know what bothers you, not what it is called
That is the most common situation, and it is not a problem. It is the normal starting point.

You have already tried something
A cream from the pharmacy, a routine kept up for three weeks, a treatment elsewhere. It did not hold and you want to know why.

You want to know before your card comes out
What is realistic, over what timeframe, and at what price. That is a healthy demand.
The five concerns
Each page starts in the same place, what you see. They set out the mechanism first, then name the treatments that act on it, limits included.

Lines, sagging and volume loss
A jawline that reads less clearly, a forehead that keeps its mark at rest, features that are setting in.

Pigmentation, rosacea and redness
Cheeks that flush for no reason, a nose that stays marked, sun spots stacked up over twenty years outdoors.

Acne and facial scarring
Spots that keep returning to the same place, razor burn, and the marks all of it leaves behind.
Learn more
Dark circles
A look that reads tired after a good night. The first thing other people notice.

Hair loss
A hairline moving back, a crown thinning out. Mostly we will tell you where to go, and it is not always here.

Choosing the right approach
Behind one concern there are usually several possible answers. What separates them is the cause, not the appearance.
Take a forehead line. If it only appears when you raise your brows, it is muscular and a medical procedure answers it. If it is visible when your face does not move at all, it is settled into the structure of the skin and that is an entirely different job. The same crease, two mechanisms, two answers.
That is exactly why the consultation exists. It turns an impression into information, and it costs nothing.

The skin analysis, free and optional
The Visia device photographs your skin under several kinds of light and reveals what a mirror never shows: sun damage accumulated below the surface, the real state of the pores, areas of inflammation, the texture.
We look at the images together on screen. With men the striking moment is almost always the same: twenty years of sun taken without protection, entirely invisible to the naked eye.
It takes twenty minutes, it is free, and you are under no obligation to book anything afterward. You are also under no obligation to go through it at all.

Common questions
Everything people ask us before a first session, answered plainly.
Where do I start when several things bother me?
With the one that bothers you most, and let the consultation handle the order. Most men arrive with two or three things that overlap, and it is common for a single treatment to touch several: a protocol that works skin texture often acts on the pores and on the marks left by spots as well. Order matters too, because some things treat better once something else has been settled. Active inflammation has to calm down before the marks it left can be worked on, and launching everything at once saves nobody any time.
Do I have to go through the consultation before booking?
No. It exists to build a plan and analyse the skin, and it is not required. If you already know what you want, book directly, the calendar is online. It is aimed at someone who does not know yet, or who has tried several things without a result that held. It is free either way, and leaving without booking anything is a normal outcome.
How long before I see something?
It depends entirely on what is being treated, and the distinction is simple. Treatments that work the surface of the skin give a result you see the same day, and it is maintained. Those that work the structure below the surface take weeks and are done in series, because the body needs that long to build collagen and nothing speeds it up. Each concern page states which is which for the treatments it names.
Are there things that cannot be treated?
Yes, and you will read them here rather than discover them halfway through a series. A pitted scar fifteen years old, hair loss with an untreated hormonal cause, redness that belongs to a medical diagnosis: those are situations where an esthetic treatment will not change much. Every page carries a section separating what responds from what does not, and it is the section we suggest you read first.
Do the treatments suit every complexion?
Most do, and a few need a setting rather than a refusal. Laser and some peels are set according to skin type, and that is precisely what the assessment checks before starting. The institute's laser, the Elite iQ by Cynosure, carries two wavelengths and treats every complexion after assessment. Nobody is ruled out in advance over skin colour.
Am I going to be sold a package?
No, and it is a worry men often raise on the phone. Some treatments genuinely work by accumulation, and when that is the case we say so, because keeping quiet about it would be selling you a disappointment. But nothing is sold at a first appointment, and plenty of situations are settled by one session or by two pieces of free advice. When the answer is "your skin is fine, come back in six months", that is what you will hear.
