What we collect

On this site

The contact form asks for your first name, your phone number, your email and your message. The treatment you have in mind is optional. You can attach up to three photos, and whether you send any is your call.

At the institute

The health form and the treatment record are filled in on site, on paper. They hold what is needed to carry out a treatment safely: your relevant history, your medication, your allergies and what was done at each session.

When you book

Fresha collects what it needs to run the calendar, under its own policy.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Paper records stay at the institute. They are kept on site, under lock, and do not leave 600 Lucien-Paiement.

They are kept for five years, then destroyed.

Who has access. The physician, Laura Pasqua and the aestheticians who receive you. No one else opens your record.

What we do with it

We use your information to receive you, carry out your treatment safely, follow up, and reach you about your appointments.

We sell nothing, to no one. Your information is not rented, traded or passed on for advertising.

Your photos are never published without your written consent, and that consent is given separately, in writing, for each use. A photo sent through the form serves to prepare your appointment, nothing else.

Third parties that receive data

Each has its own policy, and we pass on only what they need.

Fresha for booking, the calendar and reminders.

Clover for payment at the institute. We keep no card numbers.

Vercel hosts this site. Messages from the form pass through its infrastructure.

Resend delivers those messages to our inbox. It handles the sending, and keeps nothing beyond what delivery requires.

Google measures how the site is used, and only if you agree to it. See section 7.

These companies sit outside Quebec, so part of the information is handled outside the province. We pass on only what they need, and each answers for its own policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it destroyed.

Write to info@institutbea.com. A written request leaves a trace on both sides, yours and ours: that is why we ask for it by email rather than over the phone. We answer within thirty days.

The person in charge of protecting personal information is Laura Pasqua, founder of L'Institut Béa. She is the one who receives these requests, and you can reach her at the same address or at (450) 688-1232.

Cookies

This site measures its traffic, and it asks you first.

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept audience measurement. Until you accept, nothing is stored on your device: every consent signal starts out denied.

If you accept, we see pages viewed and paths through the site. We do not see who you are, and this measurement never touches your treatment record.

You can change your mind at any time, through the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page, which appears once you have made a choice.

This site shows no advertising and does not follow you onto other sites.
