What we do and do not do
This is the most important section on this page, and it deliberately comes before the treatments.
What the institute does not do. It diagnoses no cause of hair loss and it prescribes nothing. No esthetic treatment here makes hair grow back.
Where you should turn. Loss that is established, fast or worrying belongs with a doctor, ideally a dermatologist. Blood work often identifies something simple and correctable.
What the institute can genuinely offer. Scalp care, which works on the state of the skin your hair grows from.
That is a complement, honestly modest. It is not a treatment, and we will not present it as one.

The medical side
PRP for hair is a medical procedure. It involves drawing your blood, isolating the platelet-rich plasma and injecting it into the scalp.
It is performed by our doctor, exclusively, after a medical consultation separate from the institute's. He keeps his own file and bills his own fees.
No esthetician at the institute injects anything into the scalp.

Does a scalp treatment make hair grow back?
No, and nobody should tell you otherwise. A scalp treatment works on the skin: it clears, cleans and hydrates. That is the ground the hair grows from, not the hair itself. If your hair is thinning, a scalp treatment can accompany a wider approach; it does not replace one. The first step remains a medical appointment.
When should I see a doctor instead of coming here?
As soon as the loss is fast, leaves bare patches, comes with itching, redness or pain, or simply worries you. A doctor can order blood work, reach a diagnosis and prescribe treatments that exist and are documented. None of that is found in a spa, and we would rather tell you now.
Is PRP for hair done by an esthetician?
No. It is an injection, so it is a medical procedure, and our doctor performs it. The medical consultation beforehand is separate from the institute's, with its own fee and its own file. That separation is what the Collège des médecins requires when a physician practises in premises he does not own.
How many sessions?
It depends entirely on what you are coming for, and nobody can tell you before looking at your scalp. For upkeep, a single session makes sense. For anything more sustained, the question belongs in a consultation, with what you are seeing and how long it has been going on.
