Shaping redraws the line of the brow. Tinting darkens the hair and visually fills the sparser areas. Lamination softens the hairs and sets them in the direction you want. A lash lift curls your natural lash at its base.

Contraindications
A KNOWN ALLERGY TO A TINT
Including hair dye. Mention it when booking: a patch test may be required, and it is better planned than discovered on the day.
AN IRRITATION OR INFECTION OF THE EYE
Conjunctivitis in progress, a swollen lid, a stye. We postpone the session rather than work millimetres from an irritated eye.
DAMAGED SKIN IN THE AREA
An open wound, an eczema flare or sunburn on the brow bone. Tweezing and products have no place on damaged skin.

Does it hurt?
Tweezing the line gives a brief pull, mostly under the brow bone where the skin is thinner. Tinting and lamination are not felt. During a lash lift, your eyes stay closed from start to finish and you feel nothing beyond light contact on the lid. Slight redness around the brow is possible and settles within an hour.
How long does it last?
A tint lasts a few weeks and fades gradually. A lamination lasts longer, often around six to eight weeks, because it follows the hair's growth cycle. A lash lift works on the same principle. We give you the order of magnitude at the end of the session, based on what we observed on you, not a guarantee.
Do I need a patch test before a tint?
Tinting products call for precautions, and the answer depends on the product used. Ask when you book, so it is handled before you come rather than on arrival. If you have ever reacted to a hair dye, say so: it is the best indicator we have.
Does lamination make hair grow?
No, and it is the most common confusion. It works the hairs you have: it softens them, directs them and sets them. On a very sparse brow the effect stays limited, because there is not enough material to direct. In that case, tinting or semi-permanent makeup answers better.
Is a lash lift the same as extensions?
No, nothing is glued and nothing is added. Your natural lash is curled at its base, which opens the gaze without weighing the lash down or calling for upkeep. The practical difference is clear: no touch-up every three weeks, no special care when removing makeup, and nothing that falls off. In exchange, it adds neither length nor density.
Can I have it done on the day of an event?
For a shaping, yes. For a tint or a lamination, allow two or three days: the skin around the brow can redden slightly and the result settles after a few hours. That is advice, not a contraindication. Tell us the date when you book.
Do you do lash extensions?
No. The service used to exist, the person who provided it is no longer at the institute, and we would rather tell you here than on your arrival. The lash lift is what we offer, and for plenty of people it answers the real need better.
